This week we...

Went for a hike to Secret Lake (Cecret Lake). It is called this because they want to keep it a secret how to get there! It is supposed to be a well marked path, and easy to find, with signs along the way telling you about the vegetation and rocks. It is supposed to be great for young children and older people (and with the crazy rainy weather, that sounded perfect). So we went, only to discover, nothing was marked, the path kept forking off into several different directions, and it was rocky and steep at the end, with a bunch of switchbacks all the way up. But at the top, hidden in the mountain is a beautiful lake. Maybe that is the Secret?

The kids had a great time! It was so fun! Eden proved to be a perfect hiker and she sure kept up with us, it was almost like we had to keep up with her!

We mowed the lawn, (now our fence is finally done too)
made crafts,
played dress-up,
went to ballet, twice!

made lego-cities,
visited the Aquarium, again,

and went to Temple Square with daddy on his lunch break.

Brad and I are going to be building a sandbox for the kids now that the fence is installed! (yay about that!) Enough pictures for you all?!

Loves & Later!

The new house looks awesome, congrats. Too fun hiking with the kids too, can't wait till my little peanuts get bigger so we can take up some adventure too. Glad to see you guys are all doing well. We were at the ranch on Saturday and Uncle Rick was out and about looking really good. He helped me find some good chokecherries to pick to make syrup. Take Care

Glad you got to see some of the scenery. Secret Lake is one of my favorites, but I've only been there once. Glad you had a good time!
